Parts for Trucks, Inc. is Atlantic Canada’s leading distributor of heavy duty truck and trailer parts, operating 15 sales outlets and four service centres located throughout the region. We supply parts, truck-mounted equipment and repair service to customers across all areas of the trucking industry. We have an opening for a Warehouse Person / Parts Delivery Driver in our Grand Falls-Windsor location.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Offload stock from transport trucks; load and unload customer vehicles.
  •  Receive and put away weekly stock orders. Pick orders and prepare items for shipment.
  • Deliver parts to customers in the local area.
  • General warehouse cleaning and other duties, including bin maintenance, stocking shelves, and processing return of warranty items or core parts for recycling.
  • Participate in inventory counting. Answer phones or assist with counter sales as needed.

  • Grade 12 plus two to three years of similar experience, including knowledge of warehousing practices and computerized inventory control.
  • Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds), and be physically active.
  • Trained and experienced in operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift).
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract, with four years of driving experience required.
  • Adaptable to a variety of tasks in a busy warehouse, working alone or with others.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety procedures, including WHMIS and TDG.
  • Comparable experience in an automotive, industrial or agricultural type business would be beneficial. Good memory recall and numerical ability are also helpful.
