Parts for Trucks, Inc. is Atlantic Canada’s leading distributor of heavy duty truck and trailer parts, operating 15 sales outlets and 4 service centres throughout the region. We supply parts, truck-mounted equipment and repair service to customers across all areas of the trucking industry. We have an opening for a Branch Manager at our Truro location.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage daily operations of the store and warehouse, including sales, customer relations, shipping/receiving and inventory management, safety, and facility maintenance.
  • Be a product knowledge leader for a full line of quality brand-name truck and trailer parts. Source parts and provide product information to customers.
  • Maintain regular customer communication and resolve customer concerns. Collaborate with Outside Sales to better assess and meet customer needs. Make weekly sales calls on a short list of customers outside the branch.
  • Develop and manage a staff of 5, including parts counter and warehouse positions.
  • Facilitate and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including sales reporting, cash handling, inventory, and health & safety.


  • Knowledge of heavy duty truck and trailer parts is fundamental to the position. Five or more years of experience in the heavy duty truck industry is preferred, along with experience in a management position, and/or post-secondary training in a business or technical field.
  • Effective sales and interpersonal skills, with sound business sense and decision making ability.
  • Experience with computerized inventory and budget management.
